✔️ What I think about Adobe Fresco after using it for six months.
I also want to give a huge thank you to my subscribers. It means a lot to me that you are a part of my community. I’m working toward bringing you better content and I appreciate you hanging with me as I learn the ropes and let you know what is going on in my world and head. Thank you so much!
I am thrilled to be talking to you about Adobe Fresco today! I have found a new love for this drawing app.
The first digital art that I ever got into was on Procreate. But after watching more of Chris Piascik's Youtube videos and testing the app for myself, I can really see the value Adobe Fresco provides.
There are a few things I’ve learned and here are some reasons why I like it a lot.
Things I’ve learned about Adobe Fresco as a new user…
1. It has a fabulous free version. It reminds me of procreate and has similar design and features. It also resembles adobe apps of course.
2. It has vector brushes built in.
3. You have a ton of options available that can be integrated with adobe creative cloud.
There a quite a few features on Adobe Fresco that I’ve noticed shine brightly.
One of the features that I am using to become a better designer is the pattern feature.
I’ve spent a lot of time learning Adobe on the computer which was totally necessary. However, it almost seems like I’ve forgotten to use the skill that brought me here in the first place, digital art and drawing.
To become a better designer, I am going to utilize the pattern feature and create more illustrations and surface pattern designs.
I also can not forget to step up the mock up game. I have learned that mockups really are a make it or break it part of the design process.
My recent brand pattern created on Adobe Fresco.
Adobe Fresco has been a pretty great tool to get to know this year.
After using it for a good six months plus, I can say that it is a valuable asset. Yes, they do have a paid $9.99 a month version that does not include adobe creative cloud. However, there is quite an abundance of features that you can use with the free version.
If you have used Procreate or like it, it will take you no time at all to become accustomed to Adobe Fresco.
I definitely think that there are many ways to utilize this app for adobe users and designers.
Okay, great so I am loving Adobe fresco.
Switching gears a little bit, I wanted to talk about my next idea.
I’m not sure if you know, but I’ve been attempting karaoke nights.
With some success and some crap lol.
I have thought a little more about what I want to do going further and how I can still keep up with my interests or multiple passions that I feel my efforts have not been directed towards at this time.
So, here is my idea…
I’m thinking a song is picked from recent trending songs.
(Scared.)
I learn that song for about a week then I practice the song live Saturday.
Next day (Sunday), I record the song. The following Monday (in newsletter) I say which song. Then next following Saturday (thinking ‘Studio Sesh’ for the name) I present the finished song, Play my playlists and sing a couple other songs.
I know that sounds kinda complicated, but hopefully as my plan unfolds, you will see it piece together as a whole.
I feel like an hour of karaoke is fun, but I am struggling with that strategy at the moment.
Also, I was thinking as a privilege to the paid subscribers, I would be holding a pole on which song to sing next.
So, I expect to have a song to practice live this Saturday. The Saturday after that I will present the recorded song along with an album cover art piece. The following Monday’s Newsletter will include the pole for next song pick.
Paid subscribers have access to the chat, access to locked posts, they’ll have song choice privileges and can expect monthly gifts.
Here is my last video on YouTube… you can hear me sing a little bit.
I want to leave you with some last bit of warmth and goodness. ✨😘
